Ingredients

Chicken

  • Juice of 1 lemon

Pasta

  • 250 g pasta (penne, fettuccine, or linguine)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Pasta water (as needed)

  • Fresh parsley
  • Extra Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente.
    Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat butter + olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic and sauté 30 seconds (don’t burn it).
  5. Add lemon juice + zest, stir, then pour in cream.
    Simmer gently 2–3 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan until melted and creamy.
    Add a splash of pasta water if needed.
  7. Add pasta and chicken back to the pan.
    Toss until everything is coated and glossy.
