
Filet Mignon with Shrimp and Lobster Cream Sauce
Ingredients
Steaks
- 2 filet mignon steaks
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
Seafood Cream Sauce
- 4 oz shrimp, peeled, deveined, chopped
- 4 oz lobster meat, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken or seafood broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & white or black pepper, to taste
- Optional: pinch of paprika or cayenne
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season filet mignon generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Add butter, baste, then remove and rest.
- In the same pan, melt butter. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes until pink.
- Stir in lobster, broth, and cream. Simmer gently until slightly thickened.
- Add Parmesan, season to taste, and simmer 1–2 minutes more.
- Spoon shrimp and lobster cream sauce over steaks. Garnish and serve immediately.
🍽️ Serve with: mashed potatoes, asparagus, or roasted vegetables.
