Ingredients
- 2 cups cold heavy cream (whipping cream)
- 1 can (395 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Place the heavy cream in a large bowl and beat with a mixer until thick and soft peaks form. The cream should be fluffy but not stiff.
- In a separate bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until smooth.
- Slowly add the whipped cream to the condensed milk mixture, folding gently with a spatula to keep the mixture light and airy.
- Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and smooth the top.
- Cover tightly and freeze for 6–8 hours, or until fully set.
- Remove from the freezer for a few minutes before scooping to get a perfectly creamy texture.
Tips
- Use very cold cream for best results.
- Do not overmix after adding the whipped cream.
- You can add chocolate chips, fruit puree, or cookie pieces before freezing if desired.
